| Starting a drawing session When Netfitti starts, you will have the option of connecting to an existing session as a client (Join tab) or starting a new session as server (Host tab). Notes for clients (Join tab): A list of available session servers can be found here. Look at this page for available servers if for some reason they don't show up automatically in the client dialog box. This page is dynamically updated. Notes for servers (Host tab): If you are running the server behind a firewall, you will need to change your firewall settings to allow incoming connections at the port number you specify. Otherwise Internet participants will not be able to connect to your server. In addition, if you are on a local network with a router (such as a wireless router that shares your internet connection), you will need to set up port forwarding on the router to send packets to your server.
Press the Start (for servers) or Connect (for clients) button. A second panel will be shown, where you should type and Enter your user name. Press the Draw button to start the drawing session. |
